The Moral of the Story

Who to Trust?                                                          ‘Do you ever get an icky feeling around anyone?’

‘I say Wolf, for all wolves are not the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!’ -Charles Perrault

‘Teach your child what a predator is, help them to understand a predator can be anyone.’

‘How being aware of their surroundings can help them stay safe.’

‘Prepare your child for what to do when they may find themselves in a situation that makes them uncomfortable.’

Once upon a time there were stories and fairy tales told to instill fear and morals into the minds of the innocent. These decorated traditional tales and fables with underlying meanings and intentions correlate within the digital photographs captured in, The Moral of the Story series.

Bluntly capturing the punch line of a fairy tale in a real-life situation, these works identify the intensity and severity of predators and their intentions. Educating generations about intimidating life threatening encounters to construct a protective instinct and natural survival will within the being.
